     Winchester Rugby Football Club was founded in October of 2001, by bagel-crazy Kiwi Bill Bradley who had a desire to see his national sport transplanted in his new hometown. The club quickly attracted a solid core of players, both experienced and not.

    For a small, Virginia city, we have a surprisingly international team, with members from such foreign lands as Ireland, Australia, England, Canada, Paraguay, South Africa, Scotland and even West Virginia!

Our team members range in age from 18 to 55, and come from a variety of occupations, from stockbrokers to schoolteachers.
